The Ferntree Gully Film Society had its beginnings in 1956 when it was established as part of the Ferntree Gully Arts Society.
Originally screening at the Hut Gallery up until 1994 with 16mm projectors, the Society moved to Boronia Cinema and then to the Europa Cinema at Village Cinemas Knox using 35mm and nowadays DCP.
The Society presents a series of film screenings of both English language and International films on the fourth Monday of each month and is an affiliated member of the Victorian Federation of Film Societies.
Membership is on a yearly basis with 11 films each year from February to December. A concession rate is offered.

Dear Members Welcome to 2024; I hope everyone looks forward to another year of great movies. Movie List for 2024 is available below Membership Renewal is now due. Membership is yearly, with 11 films from February to December at $95.00, and a concession rate is offered at $90.00. (Pensioners and Students only). Apologies for the cost increase. Just like everything, Village has increased its costs to us. Printed forms available here. For membership enquiries, call 8756 4286.
